|WHAT TO BRING||
The itinerary listed below is for the current season.
Given the unpredictable nature of Ireland’s weather, what we do each day might occasionally vary so that you have the best experience possible.
DAY 1: INIS MOR ISLAND CYCLING TOUR
Connemara here we come!! Our first adventure takes us from mainland Ireland to one of its most renowned island, Inis Mór, meaning big island. It is the largest of three islands that make up the Aran Islands.
Once we arrive on its limestone shores, we will take a cycling tour exploring this magnificent landscape that has as many as 50 different monuments of Christian, pre-Christian and Celtic mythological heritage. The most famous of them are Dún Aonghasa, a breathing fort that was built on a high cliff some 100 metres above sea level and Dún Dúchathair (the Black fort) which enjoys a more solitude setting on the cliffs at Cill Éinne, (Killeany). Some visitors enjoy the solitude of it in contrast with the more busy Dún Aonghasa. The fort consists of a terraced wall surrounding the remains of some early dwelling houses known as Clocháns (stone houses).
DAY 2: CLIFDEN KAYAK ADVENTURE ON THE WILD ATLANTIC“
Today’s adventure brings us on a kayak adventure on the wild Atlantic shores of Clifden. We will explore its majestic coastline and vast caves. After a bite to eat in Clifden, we commence our journey back east passing Kylemore Abbey, Ireland’s only fjord at Killary habour, secluded picturesque lakes before arriving in Galway city where we bid a fond farewell full of happy memories that will last forever. We really hope you have had an amazing time exploring some of Connemara’s most unique destinations and remember Ireland is now forever your home away from home.
